Women entrepreneurs are a driving force in Australia’s economy, yet they continue to face systemic barriers, including limited funding access and a lack of structural support. Addressing these challenges is essential to unlocking the full potential of Australia’s startup ecosystem. March Collective was created to bridge this gap, providing high-growth, women-founded businesses with the community, resources, programs, network and funding they need to scale. As they transitioned from SBE Advisory, March Collective required a bold and refined brand identity, as well as a clear business blueprint and got-to-market launch strategy that not only set them apart but also reflected their vision, ambition, and the transformative role they play in the market.
Strategy
With a fast-approaching launch deadline aligned with International Women’s Day, we developed a comprehensive brand and communications strategy designed to establish a clear business blueprint. This involved defining who March Collective is, why they exist, and how their services empower women-led businesses. With long-term adaptability in mind, we ensured their brand values, culture, and communication strategy could evolve—allowing for expansion, partnerships, and new offerings while maintaining a strong and recognisable core identity. We clarified the purpose and positioning of their offerings, ensuring messaging resonated with their audience while delivering a seamless and consistent experience across all touchpoints. Coming to us with a preexisting logo, the accompanying visual language needed to feel cool, edgy, quietly powerful and credible to capture the ambition of the women they support. Developing a comprehensive style guide we created a distinctive, future-ready brand that balances authority with approachability.
